All About Me
Here is some of my professional and personal background. I was born and raised here in the Coachella Valley. I attended all my elementary and secondary school years in Palm Springs Unified School District schools. In high school, I graduated in the top of my class, participated in the Junior Statesman of America, and was a varsity letterman in football, soccer, and track,. I am married with 5 children. My youngest two are 11 and 14. I was married on the 4th of July. I used to spend my summers teaching in Switzerland, traveling through Europe, and visited more than 19 countries, 28 states, and Washington, DC. I am also a very big Dallas Cowboys Fan!
The College Years
My college years include a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science/History from University of California, Riverside and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from California State University, San Bernardino.
Additionally, I have the following Teaching Credentials / Certificates: Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Single Subject Teaching Credential in Math and one in Social Studies, Administrative Services Credential, and a CLAD Certificate.
In 2015, I receive my Ph.D. Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

Professional Years
I have been a teacher for more than 27 years now. Most of those years (20+) were here at Nellie Coffman. I also taught some elementary and high school, and was a principal and assistant principal, as well.
